Developed at a cost of £1.5bn, the shopping centre opened in 2008 and became the largest shopping development in the capital. Noted for its size, it has a retail area of 150,000m2 which is the equivalent of almost 30 football pitches.

The development was built by Westfield construction and was delivered on time. Employing 8,000, the project took five years to build. The completed centre features around 255 stores plus a high-end retail area called The Village including top brands such as Burberry, Gucci and Versace.

For their washrooms, they needed products that were hygienic and efficient to use due to the high volume of traffic. We supplied our DB400 panel-mounted electronic infrared tap, touch-free which helps reduce the risk of cross-contamination and spread of germs. They also used our BC2003-BM Dolphin highspeed, behind-mirror hand dryer which is interchangeable with paper towel dispenser if needed and easy to access from behind the mirror for maintenance.

Our Prestige DP4306 was also added, a stainless steel recessed towel dispenser and waste bin combination unit with welded corners and no sharp edges. With sections lockable separately, this product boasts superior quality and timeless design.
