Swiss House is a cornerstone of London’s Leicester Square. The building is striking, combining contemporary style with historic beauty.

Swiss House required an accessible washroom which was every bit as remarkable as the rest of the building. Dolphin and Make Architects were therefore keen to create a stylish space which also complied with the requirements of Doc M and BS8300.

The Dolphin Ease range made this achievable with sleek fittings such as grab rails, back seats and hinged rails. The Superloo Alavo was also a key feature of this washroom given its stylish nature and hand washing functionality.

The Alavo’s behind mirror system is user-friendly whilst also enabling easy maintenance and replenishments by cleaning operatives.

The Alavo’s environmental credentials were also an important consideration. Infrared sensor taps provide a water saving of up to 65% and the environmentally friendly hand dryers enable a reduction in energy consumption of up to 70% compared to other hand dryers.

Bespoke stainless steel bins added the final touch to this project.
